Because at the moment all I’m doing is making notes and drawing lots of thumbnails I thought I’d post one of my older pieces to keep my Tumblr alive. This was based on a myth that when birds disappeared in winter they went to sleep under lakes.

White Bear King Valemon is a Norwegian folk tale about a princess who wants a golden wreath, and a polar bear who wants the princess. He looks very serious, but I guess stealing princesses is a fairly serious enterprise.
